Shoot for Success
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County’s 2026 Shoot for Success skeet shooting event was a great day of camaraderie, competition, and community impact in support of the Marc & Sarah Young Branch. Hosted by Bobcat Contracting LLC, the event welcomed 300 shooters and raised close to $200,000 to help create brighter futures for youth across Tarrant, Denton, and Hill Counties.
A special thank you goes to Bobcat Contracting LLC for supporting the event to help maximize the impact of every dollar raised. We are also deeply grateful to the dedicated volunteers from the Hill County Advisory Committee and Bobcat employees who worked tirelessly throughout the day to make the event such a success. Thank you to Graybar for providing and serving lunch for participants and supporters. Together, your generosity and partnership continue to make a lasting difference for the young people we serve.
2026 Youth of the Year
The 2026 Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County Youth of the Year Gala was an unforgettable evening celebrating the resilience, leadership, and potential of the young people we serve. With more than 400 guests in attendance, this year’s event was our largest and most successful to date, surpassing our fundraising goal and generating critical support for Club youth across Tarrant County.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, and community partners whose support made the evening possible. Congratulations to all of our inspiring finalists, and especially to Ja’Miyah G., who was named the 2026 BGCGTC Youth of the Year. Her story, leadership, and determination embody the spirit of the Youth of the Year program and the bright future ahead for the next generation.
2026 Golf Classic
On May 4, 2026, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County’s 2026 Golf Classic brought together business and community leaders for a memorable day on the green in support of great futures for local youth. With 134 golfers participating, this year’s event was a wonderful success and a powerful reminder of what our community can accomplish together.
We are deeply grateful to our dedicated Golf Classic Committee, led by Tom McCarty, as well as our generous sponsors and supporters who made the event possible. We also proudly celebrated a special milestone this year — the 25th consecutive year that Saltgrass generously sponsored and provided lunch for our tournament participants. Their longtime partnership and commitment to our mission continue to make a lasting impact on the young people we serve.
