Cinderella Reunion Celebrates a Legacy of Generosity and Impact
October 25, 2026 – Generations of Cinderella alumni and supporters gathered on October 25 at the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County and the remarkable legacy of the Cinderella Charity Ball. The reunion brought together former Cinderella candidates, Miss Cinderellas, families, Ladies’ Auxiliary members and board members to reconnect, share memories and honor a tradition of generosity that has supported BGCGTC for 67 years and raised more than $16.7 million through 2025. As we celebrate a century of opening doors to great futures, we are grateful to everyone who has helped make this legacy possible.
Celebrating Our Trustees and a Century of Impact
October 20, 2026 – We recently hosted our second annual Trustee Celebration, bringing together our Trustees to connect, reflect on our 100-year legacy, and celebrate the leaders who help advance our mission.
We are grateful for our Trustees’ continued partnership, commitment and advocacy, which make a meaningful difference in our organization and the communities we serve. As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, we look forward to building on this legacy together and opening the door to great futures for generations to come.
Panther Club Alumni Reunite to Celebrate Lasting Legacy
October 6, 2026 – Panther Club alumni gathered at Joe T. Garcia’s in Fort Worth for a special reunion filled with old stories, shared memories and reconnections. The evening celebrated our Club’s rich history and the lasting relationships that continue to connect generations of alumni.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County wouldn’t be where it is today without the Panther Club and the people who have been part of its story. As we celebrate 100 years of opening doors to great futures, the reunion was a meaningful reminder of the Club’s enduring impact and place in our history. We look forward to keeping the Panther Club family connected and working together to build the next century of impact. Our Lewisville Branch is Open!
August 21, 2026 – We celebrated the grand opening of our Lewisville Branch—Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County’s first permanent Club location serving Denton County youth!
The celebration followed an especially exciting milestone just two days earlier, when the Club officially opened its doors to young people on August 19, 2026. Located in a newly renovated 10,000-square-foot facility, the Lewisville Branch provides a safe, affordable, and nurturing place for youth ages 6–18 to learn, grow, and thrive after school and throughout the year.
Clayton Youth Enrichment and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County Complete Strategic Merger
July 1, 2026 – We are excited to announce that the merger between Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County and Clayton Youth Enrichment is now official!
Together, we bring more than 150 years of combined experience serving children and families, creating a stronger organization with greater capacity to meet the needs of one of the fastest-growing regions in the country.
Merger of Clayton Youth Enrichment with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County
We are excited to share that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County (BGCGTC) and Clayton Youth Enrichment (CYE) Boards have officially approved a merger, bringing our organizations one step closer to joining forces in support of children, teens, and families across North Texas.
Once finalized, the merger will build on more than 150 years of combined service to the community while creating new opportunities to strengthen school-based and out-of-school programs through shared resources and greater efficiency. Together, we will be even better positioned to meet the growing needs of youth and families in one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions.
Our CEO, Daphne Barlow, will lead the combined organization, which will operate under the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County name. With board approvals now complete, our organizations will begin the important work of bringing teams and operations together ahead of the anticipated merger finalization in summer 2026.
Groundbreaking in Lewisville
We officially broke ground on our new Lewisville Club, marking the start of an inspiring transformation. The former fire station is being refurbished into a state-of-the-art, year-round facility where local youth can find mentorship, nutritious meals, and life-changing programming.
This project is the culmination of five years of dedicated collaboration between the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County, the City of Lewisville, and Denton County leaders.
We look forward to opening our doors this fall and providing Lewisville youth with a safe, permanent space to grow into the leaders of tomorrow.
Merger of Boys & Girls Clubs of Hill County with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County
We are proud to officially announce a bold new chapter: the merger of the Boys & Girls Club of Hill County with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County. This visionary step allows us to unite our strengths, expand our reach, and deepen our impact on the young people who need us most.
To mark this milestone, we recently hosted a corporate luncheon at the Marc & Sarah Young Branch in Hillsboro. Local leaders, donors, and community champions gathered to tour the facility and hear from inspiring speakers, including our 2026 Youth of the Year, Ja’Miyah, and our CEO, Daphne Barlow. Guests also experienced a tour of our Mobile Clubhouse, a vital resource that brings mentorship and nutritious meals directly into the heart of the community.
This merger is more than a formal agreement; it is a powerful affirmation of what we can accomplish together. By joining forces, we are ensuring that every child in Hill County has access to a safe, supportive, and inspiring place to grow.
New Mural Unveiled at North Fort Worth Branch
We recently unveiled a stunning new mural at our North Fort Worth branch. This vibrant piece was commissioned in honor of The Morris Foundation’s 40th Anniversary, marking four decades of their transformative work within the Fort Worth community.
To celebrate this milestone, The Morris Foundation commissioned four unique murals across the city, and we are deeply honored to have been selected as one of the partner agencies recognized. This artwork serves as a lasting tribute to our shared commitment to the people of Fort Worth.
We want to extend a special thank you to the talented artist, Kristen Soble, for bringing this vision to life. We also share our deepest gratitude to The Morris Foundation for 40 years of unwavering partnership and support.
