Volunteer Offerings

Basic Needs Center Food Pantry Volunteer

We have a critical need for volunteers to support our Expanded Basic Needs Program, specifically supporting our grocery and meal distribution efforts. Food Bank distributions will occur on the third Wednesday of every month at our Panther Branch at 1500 Hemphill Street.

With direction from our Senior Director of Basic Needs, volunteer duties will include: 

  • Organization of food donations and organizing items into boxes for distribution
  • Placing food boxes into trunks and back seats of vehicles
  • Directing Traffic
  • Collecting client information (name, address, and phone number) 
  • Breakdown of boxes and facility clean up

We need volunteers from the hours of 8 AM – 12 PM at our Basic Needs Center at our Panther Branch

We need about 10 volunteers for each of the following upcoming distribution dates: 

  • March 17
  • April 21
