A Mission in Motion for Denton County
Overview
Denton County is one of the nation’s fastest growing counties and largest county in the nation without a Boys & Girls Club. After hearing an urgent call for increased support for youth and families in Denton County from 2021 “Community Conversation” sessions, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County has officially embarked on a journey to meet the needs of youth that need us most.

In November, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County held an inaugural event to celebrate service expansion to Denton County. Initial services include the Mobile Clubhouse which is a youth development experience with activities tailored towards outcomes in academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character & leadership.
