Comin' Up Gang Intervention
Positively impacting the lives of at risk & gang-involved youth.
Overview
Our Comin’ Up Gang Intervention program is designed to positively impact the lives of at-risk & gang-involved youth by providing needs-based services and activities to reduce the level of gang violence in partnership with the city of Fort Worth.
Program Offerings
The ultimate goal of the program is to produce life changes with the members that we serve through programming and case management. Members must be Fort Worth residents between the ages of 13-24 with an affiliation or connection to any gang. Early intervention participants can be any person aged 7 – 24 within the city of Fort Worth.
Life changes include:
- Obtaining GED/HiSET
- Graduating High School
- Completing a Semester of college
- Completing Vocational training
- 90 Day Employment
- Enlisting in military
- Returning to school
- Grade progression
- Successful Completion of Adult/Juvenile Probation
Program Benefits
- Reduction of violent crime and gang-related activities through enhanced enforcement activities and crime prevention programs
- Increased safety of residents and decreased crime throughout Fort Worth neighborhoods
- Increased safety of youth and reduced juvenile crime through crime prevention and intervention programs
