Mavs Foundation renovated the Education Room at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County’s North Fort Worth branch. The renovation included brand new floors, paint, modern furniture, wall murals, laptops and tablets, and interactive materials for the children to use during after school and summer programming. Boys & Girls Clubs Education Room programming is centered around Academic Success, including S.T.E.A.M curriculum and reading, and is geared towards giving kids the resources they need to be successful in life. On September 17th, after being closed for 6 weeks, Dallas Mavericks players participated in a dedication ceremony, engaging with the kids through Q&A sessions and creative projects, emphasizing the community’s commitment to supporting local youth.
