We are excited to share that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County (BGCGTC) and Clayton Youth Enrichment (CYE) Boards have officially approved a merger, bringing our organizations one step closer to joining forces in support of children, teens, and families across North Texas.
Once finalized, the merger will build on more than 150 years of combined service to the community while creating new opportunities to strengthen school-based and out-of-school programs through shared resources and greater efficiency. Together, we will be even better positioned to meet the growing needs of youth and families in one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions.
Our CEO, Daphne Barlow, will lead the combined organization, which will operate under the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County name. With board approvals now complete, our organizations will begin the important work of bringing teams and operations together ahead of the anticipated merger finalization in summer 2026.
